Promotion
You will need a 2 to 3 page promotion section.

The promotion section has changed considerably over the last few years. More and more authors are expected to do their own promotion and to submit a promotion plan with the book proposal.

Here is what you will need to include in most promotion plans

·        (1) the magazines you will send reviews to, along with the name of the reviewer.

·        (2) Promotion through Amazon.com

·        (3) Promote at AOL through their book report.

·        (4) On Line promotion

·        (5) Appearances

·        (6) Sell from a trade booth

·        (7) Sell at Incentive shows

·        (8) Sell to corporations as promotion gifts

You will have to use Bacon's publicity guides to do a good job at this. You will need the names of book reviewers at various magazines. Check them out at www. Bacons.com Bacon's has a series of promotion directories.

Do the best you can at this. It is going to take some time however,

Here is an example. You can simply copy most of this.
